Viva Graciousness settled one off behind midfield and speared through near the inside to take control 50m out for back-to-back wins from two starts this season and a first from 11 goes in Class Three. He's in the form of his life. Keen Molly did everything right but get the win after leading 150m out following a prominent run. He was able to build on a fourth on his seasonal debut last month over 1,400m. Hammered to jump favourite, Casa Rochester ran on nicely along the inside for third after a patient ride three from the rear. Harmony Galaxy ran on steadily for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was an improved effort at his third outing this term. Star Contact gradually faded after working hard three wide to chase the leader from gate five. It was another honest effort by the seven-year-old. Another Zonda was on his tippy toes 100m out after dictating the pace from gate three. Early favourite Embraces ran on without threatening widest out after a patient ride one from the rear. He requires rating relief.

Race Six : (81) - THE HKEX CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1650Meters

Horse No 1 EMBRACES (J276) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After the event C L Chau stated that with the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time his mount was under pressure to hold its position behind midfield.

He added that when he placed the horse under pressure in the Home Straight EMBRACES finished the race off reasonably well.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 2 CALL ME TOPSEED (K357) K C Leung Bumped near the 1500 Metres.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 3 STAR CONTACT (E472) B Avdulla After being crossed by KEEN MOLLY near the 1500 Metres was then steadied to avoid KEEN MOLLY, resulting in STAR CONTACT making the first turn wider.

STAR CONTACT was then allowed to stride forward near the 1200 Metres to avoid racing wide and without cover.

Horse No 4 PRESTIGE GOOD (K131) J Orman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

After the event J Orman stated that with the early and middle stages of the race being run inside of standard time his mount travelled only fairly at the rear of the field.

He added that in the Home Straight PRESTIGE GOOD made some ground but, in his opinion, was not comfortable on the "Good to Firm"track conditions.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 5 ANOTHER ZONDA (K176) E C W Wong Bumped at the start.

After the event Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount raced keenly in the lead.

He added that when STAR CONTACT improved to his outside near the 1000 Metres this resulted in ANOTHER ZONDA continuing to race keenly and setting a faster early pace than he anticipated.

Horse No 6 KEEN MOLLY (K386) K Teetan Over the final 250 Metres lay out under pressure, resulting in its rider K Teetan having to straighten his mount near the 150 Metres.

Horse No 7 HARMONY GALAXY (J266) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly.

Approaching the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of KEEN MOLLY to continue into clear running.

Horse No 8 CASA ROCHESTER (J494) A Badel Bumped at the start.

Near the 500 Metres shifted out and made contact with YOUNG BRILLIANT.

Near the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between CALL ME TOPSEED and VIVA GRACIOUSNESS.

Horse No 9 THE LION KING (K265) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.

Near the 1500 Metres made contact with CALL ME TOPSEED when racing tight to the inside of STAR CONTACT when that runner shifted in and away from KEEN MOLLY.

Horse No 10 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) M Chadwick Bumped shortly after the start.

Horse No 11 YOUNG BRILLIANT (H135) Y L Chung Bumped shortly after the start.

Bumped near the 500 Metres.

Y L Chung was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on three occasions in the Home Straight.
