Race Seven : (51) - CUCKOO HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 STORM RIDER (J027) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 4 LITTLE PARADISE (K246) Z Purton On jumping made contact with the right side of its starting gate and then shortly after the start blundered and became unbalanced.
Raced keenly in the middle stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 STAR RISE (K516) M F Poon From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 450 Metres and the 250 Metres.
Over the concluding stages lay in resulting in its rider M F Poon changing his whip through to his right hand.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 OTOKOMAE (K495) D Probert Bumped on jumping and became unbalanced.
After the event D Probert confirmed that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position.
Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions issued.
Horse No 8 DEVAS TWELVE (H435) H Bentley Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 9 SUPERB BOY (G335) R Kingscote Shifted out at the start, made contact with OTOKOMAE and became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 11 THE REVOLUTION (K092) Y L Chung After the event Y L Chung stated that from the inside barrier he was instructed to hold an on-pace position and race in a similar manner to when it barrier trialed on 11 September 2025.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 LIGHT YEARS GLORY (K204) M Chadwick After the event M Chadwick stated that near the 900 Metres he endeavoured to obtain a position with cover behind SUPERB BOY.
He said when LITTLE PARADISE shifted out he was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event which resulted in his mount not being able to run on in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Following a wide trip with cover from behind midfield, Little Paradise responded nicely to get up in the concluding stages for a third win from five starts. He has a bright future. Star Rise ran on nicely to grab second after getting held up early in the straight when travelling third last from gate 11. It was a good run on his local debut. Punted late, Ahren grudgingly gave way after turning two lengths on top in a leading role from gate eight. It was another honest performance. After firming late in betting, Bundle Of Charm ran on steadily for fourth without threatening the top three after switching off heels for a clear run 200m out following a midfield run. He's stayed on well for fourths once across each surface this term.
