Race Three : (21) - HING WAH HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 BLAZING WIND (J157) Z Purton Shortly after the start was hampered when taken wider by DAILY TROPHY which shifted out.
Leaving the 1000 Metres shifted out and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 SIGHT HAPPY (J261) B Avdulla Lunged forward as the start was effected.
Horse No 4 GIMME FIVE (J099) K Teetan Crowded at the start.
Leaving the 1000 Metres was bumped and taken wider by BLAZING WIND which shifted out.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 JOLLY COMPANION (H454) P N Wong Jumped awkwardly, became unbalanced, shifted out, made contact with GIMME FIVE and lost ground.
Approaching the 100 Metres shifted out, resulting in its rider Apprentice P N Wong having to stop riding and straighten.
Horse No 6 DAILY TROPHY (H283) L Hewitson Leaving the 1000 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded between BLAZING WIND and BEAUTY FORMULA which lay out before being corrected by its rider.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 MEEPMEEP (H234) A Badel Bumped at the start.
Horse No 8 HANDSOME BLOND (K241) M F Poon Jumped only fairly and then was steadied when crowded between GIMME FIVE and MEEPMEEP.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 VIEW ALL THINGS (K101) M Chadwick Bumped at the start.
Hampered near the 100 Metres when JOLLY COMPANION shifted out.
Horse No 10 BEAUTY FORMULA (K066) Y L Chung A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY FORMULA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Favourite Blazing Wind tracked the speed from gate four before taking over the lead from Beauty Formula 800m out and holding on for a second win from 17 starts. He had no issues with a switch to the all-weather track. Well-backed Daily Trophy was closing with every stride for second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He's always a chance on this surface. Sight Happy ran on steadily for third after a rails run from midfield. He's done well to place third in his past two of three starts. View All Things ran on late to nearly place after a patient ride third last from gate nine. It was a good effort at his first start on the all-weather track following a stable change. Jolly Companion ran on steadily for fifth after a rails run from behind midfield. He's usually at his best when allowed to bowl along in front. Meepmeep ran on late without menacing after biding his time second last from gate eight. He prefers a longer trip.
