Racing Incident Report
Race Ten : (28) - WAH FU HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 SNOWFIELD (K251) H Bowman Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between STAR SATYR and WINNING GOLD.
Approaching the 100 Metres was eased to avoid STAR SATYR which shifted out under pressure.
After the event H Bowman stated that his mount was unable to hold a more forward position in the early stages.
He added that in the Home Straight SNOWFIELD found it difficult to make up ground from back in the field.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 2 SUPERB KID (H298) L Ferraris After the event L Ferraris stated that his mount failed to show any early pace and as a result settled back in the field.
He added that in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 WINNING GOLD (H461) R Kingscote Blundered on jumping.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 KEEN MOLLY (K386) K Teetan Had some difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 350 Metres.
Horse No 7 CALIFORNIA WAVES (K477) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 STAR SATYR (K231) Y L Chung Bumped shortly after the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 MASTER OF ALL (H177) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 PRESTIGE RICKY (K009) D Probert Jumped only fairly.
In the early stages raced keenly.
Leaving the 500 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight between SHARPEN BRIGHT and STAR SATYR.
Horse No 11 SUPREME MASTERMIND (K387) M L Yeung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 THE LION KING (K265) M Chadwick After the event M Chadwick confirmed that from the outside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position.

Favourite Master Of All cleared to lead from gate five 1,200m out and was too good for a fifth win from 23 starts. He's a very honest performer over 1,400m. Winning Gold ran on steadily after a prominent run to just win a battle for second. He's capable and does go well fresh. Punted late Joy Of Spring nearly took second after a rails run from midfield. It was a good effort over an inadequate trip following back-to-back 1,800m wins. Keen Molly kept on well for fourth after settling in the box seat from gate four. It was a better effort with the blinkers removed at his second local start. California Waves ran on steadily for fifth after a wide trip from midfield. It was a much-improved effort after a lifeless debut run in July. The Lion King was yielding ground over the last 100m after a speed-tracking role from gate 13. Prestige Ricky made some ground without threatening after a making his run five back and one-off the fence following a tardy start.
