Recap by phillip woo

Drifting favourite Dan Attack settled one off behind midfield and ran on nicely to take control 80m out for a second win at his 21st start. He lived up to a placing following a stable change in July and a solid lead-up trial. He should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Talents Supremo finished well for second after a one-off trip from better than midfield. It was a return to form following a stable change. Ragnarr closed off well for third after a rails run from behind midfield. It was another fine effort following seconds at his final two starts last term. Woodfire Champ succumbed late after poking his head in front 150m out following a prominent run wide and without cover. It was an encouraging effort following a success in June. Sensationally backed Lucky Blessing was on his tippy toes 100m out after rolling straight to the front from gate one. He was likely in need of the run for his new trainer following a lengthy break. Lucky Generations came from last and widest out to finish next best ridden for luck from gate 11. Super Charizzard didn't find much when push came to shove following a pace-stalking run.
