Recap by phillip woo

S J Tourbillon led and never looked back from gate seven for back-to-back wins. He was suited by a wet track last start over the Valley 1,800m and was likely suited by heavy showers beforehand. Well-backed Management Folks ran on well near the inside for second after making his run fourth last following his usual slow start. He's an honest stayer. Punted late Storm Runner just got up for third after a rails run from better than midfield. It was another good run. Favourite Double Win just held on for fourth after getting all favours in the box seat. He might be better ridden conservatively in the run. Fast Speed ran on well to just miss fourth prize money after a patient ride third last. It was a vastly improved effort following a downgrade. Celestial Harmony just held his ground when push came to shove after a one-out, one-back run. Brave Witness weakened after a speed-tracking run. He didn't handle the step up to 2,000m.
