Recap by phillip woo

Mojave Desert made his run five back on the fence when quickening very well near the inside to get up in the deep stretch for a second win this season on dirt from nine starts following a stable change. Gummy Gummy stayed on nicely for second after recovering from a slow start to travel midfield along the fence. He was back on track after a below par erformance last time out. Packing Bole was only overhauled in the late stages after turning the final bend two lengths on top in a leading role from gate five. He was able to back up a near win last start. Mr Energia made good ground late for fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was another honest performance. Punted late Bundle Of Charm got going late for fifth after making his run third last from gate 12. He rarely produces a bad run over the dirt 1,200m. Northern Fire Ball just held his ground after a one-off trip from midfield. Rising Force came up one-paced after getting slightly impeded 550m out following a prominent run wide without cover from gate nine.
