Recap by phillip woo

Sky Prophet cleared to lead 1,100m out from gate 13 and just scrambled in for a maiden win at his 15th start. The switch to 1,400m worked the oracle after filling the frame in three of four prior starts. Only U flew home late through the centre to just miss after getting badly held for a run until near the 100m travelling behind midfield on the fence. He should have won. Island Golden stayed on nicely for third after a wide trip travelling midfield from gate 10. It was a much better effort on his return to the 1,400m of a placing in September. Young Horizon ran on well towards the outside for fourth after making his run fourth last from gate nine. He can bob up at any time in this grade. Lapras gradually faded after tracking the winner from gate eight. It wasn't a bad effort. The Concentration ran on without threatening after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Cashiscash had his chance after chasing the speed on the fence but only plodded under pressure. He couldn't build on a second following a downgrade last start.
