Race Six : (733) - STANLEY GAP HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SUPERB CAPITALIST (H092) Y L Chung Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 2 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) E C W Wong Near the 250 Metres made contact with SUPERB BOY due to both runners shifting ground and became unbalanced.
Horse No 3 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) B Avdulla After the event B Avdulla stated that his mount came under pressure from the 500 Metres and gave ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY INFINITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 5 STORM RIDER (J027) Z Purton Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 SUPERB BOY (G335) L Hewitson Near the 250 Metres shifted in and made contact with ETERNAL FORTUNE when that runner shifted out slightly.
As a result SUPERB BOY became unbalanced.
Horse No 7 OSI HONOUR (K232) K Teetan On jumping was bumped by STORM RIDER which shifted out.
OSI HONOUR then raced tight between SUPERB BOY and STORM RIDER for some distance thereafter.
Horse No 8 THE LION KING (K265) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 FATAL BLOW (J484) A Badel Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters by STORMING DRAGON.

Horse No 10 FIND MY LOVE (H110) K De Melo Shortly after the start shifted in, made contact with KA YING CHEER, became unbalanced and lost ground.
Horse No 11 STORMING DRAGON (J237) L Ferraris Shortly after the start was bumped by FIND MY LOVE which shifted out.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 KA YING CHEER (H369) M L Yeung Shortly after the start was bumped by FIND MY LOVE and as a result became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Storm Rider travelling better than midfield on the fence won going away after hitting the front 160m for a first win at his 13 start this term. The move to blinkers worked the oracle after seconds in his past three starts. Storming Dragon whizzed home late to grab second after a patient time third last from gate eight. It was another honest effort after filling the frame in two of his past three over the Valley 1,200m. Giant Leap kept on well for third after a box-seat run. He continues to hold his condition well after back-toback wins. Fatal Blow ran on nicely late near the inside for fourth after making his run second last from gate nine. It was a better effort at his second run in Class Three following a win. Superb Capitalist ran on steadily for fifth after a prominent run. He's gone all right in three consecutive runs from outside draws down in Class Three. Eternal Fortune succumbed late after zipping straight to the front from the car park draw in gate 12. He couldn't back up a near win last start over a shorter 1,000m. Punted late Beauty Infinity came up one-paced after a one-off trip from midfield.
