Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Sky Vino travelled one off and quickened nicely with one wider out to win going away 100m out for a second victory from his past five starts. He will be in Class Three now but there's likely more to come from the three-year-old. Amazing Award ran on nicely to grab second in the concluding stages after making his run one off from behind midfield. He was suited by the race tempo. Viva Graciousness stuck on gamely for third despite a prominent run wide without cover the entire trip from gate 11. It was a return to form after a brace of dull runs. Run Run Timing wouldn't go down without a fight after getting hounded for the lead by Iconical from gate one. He's a good money spinner for connections but isn't a prolific winner. Iconical was next best after tracking the speed from gate five. He kept on OK in back-to-back runs after making all in last month. Fortune Star ran on from second last from gate eight without threatening. The Azure was held up for a clear run over the last 100m following a patient ride third last from gate 12. Swagger Bro was restless in the gates and withdrawn on veterinary advice.
