Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Prestige Good dictated the pace from gate three and was too smart for a first win at his seventh local start. The writing was on the wall with thirds in his past three starts following a downgrade. Well-backed Jumbo Fortune ran on nicely through the centre for third after taking off travelling two from the rear at the 750m. He's placed eight times without winning from 18 starts this term. Amazing Run kept on well for third after a prominent run on the fence. It was an improved run following a gear change. Super Sicario stayed on nicely for fourth after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He does appear from his past three starts to be heading in the right direction. Sight Supreme ran on steadily for fifth after a rails run from midfield. It was an OK effort after his first run following a nosebleed in February. Punted late Jubilant Winner made good ground late to finish next best after making his run at the back from gate 11. He's one to keep safe from a better draw. Jolly Jumper kept on one-paced after getting no favours travelling wide without cover in midfield.
