Racing Incident Report
Race Ten : (706) - VENGEANCE OF RAIN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 2000Meters
Horse No 2 FALLON (H219) B Thompson From the 200 Metres until the 100 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 3 FAMILY JEWEL (J390) H Bowman Approaching the 1300 Metres was checked to avoid WINNING WING when it commenced to race keenly.
As a result FAMILY JEWEL was then allowed to stride forward by its rider H Bowman which resulted in the horse racing wide and without cover for the remainder of the event.
After the event H Bowman stated that due to the wide run FAMILY JEWEL finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a superficial abrasion to its left hind leg.
Horse No 4 ENTHRALLED (K252) B Avdulla Between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
After the event B Avdulla stated that with blinkers being applied for the first time today he was instructed to hold a more forward position, similarly to the manner in which it barrier trialed on 16 May 2025.
He added that ENTHRALLED raced keenly in the early and middle stages of the event.
Horse No 5 AGENDA (K160) J Orman Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 6 WINNING WING (K129) H T Mo Making the Home Turn made contact with MIGHTY STRENGTH when MIGHTY STRENGTH shifted out to improve.
After the event H T Mo stated that the intention was to settle in a more forward position but in the early stages he was caught wide and unable to comply with his instructions.
Horse No 7 LIVEANDLETLIVE (K156) Y L Chung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 GOLD MASTER (J389) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 MASTER TRILLION (J442) M F Poon After the event M F Poon stated that his mount was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of MASTER TRILLION, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, MASTER TRILLION will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 11 MEGA FORCE (K200) M L Yeung Approaching the 1300 Metres commenced to race keenly when steadied away from AGENDA.
Horse No 12 FAST SPEED (K351) M Chadwick On jumping was crowded between MASTER TRILLION and FAMILY JEWEL.
Horse No 13 LEAN HERO (G402) L Hewitson From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the event L Hewitson reported that his mount made a respiratory noise during the running of the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Before being allowed to race again, LEAN HERO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 14 MIGHTY STRENGTH (H450) A Badel Making the Home Turn shifted out to improve and bumped with WINNING WING.
Near the 200 Metres made contact with FAMILY JEWEL when racing tight to the inside of WINNING WING.

Gold Master reeled in leader Liveandletlive 50m out after a box-seat run for a third win from nine starts. He deserved that after close seconds in his past two starts. Punted late, Liveandletlive gave a cheeky sight in front after leading from gate 13. He couldn't repeat the dose after making all last start. Enthralled stayed on for third without threatening the top two after a prominent run one off the fence. It was another honest effort over 2,000m. Winning Wing ran on well for fourth after a wide trip from behind midfield. He's honest as the day is long. Bravehearts ran on well for fifth after making his run one from the rear. He didn't get the race run to suit. Agenda whacked on one paced after a rails run from better than midfield. He's improving with racing. Packing Hurricane gradually faded after a speed-tracking run. Fallon made only a mild bid after making his run five back and one off the fence. He seems to prefer the Valley nowadays.
