Recap by phillip woo

Light Years Charm following a rails run from midfield after a slow start took control 60m from home after gap finally appeared 150m out for a second win from seven starts. He still does things wrong at the start but is a clearly a talented runner. Juneau Pride found one too good after a one-out, one-back run. He's honest as the day is long. Rising From Ashes was given a patient ride at the rear from gate eight and dashed well down the outside to snatch third. Another World had a one-off trip from midfield and missed a placing. It was another honest effort over 1,400m. Meowth went forward to sit a threewide second behind leader New Forest from gate nine and kept on for a non-threatening fifth. It was an OK effort trying 1,400m for the first time but he's itching for a return to Class Four. New Forest dictated the pace from gate five but gradually faded. Gentlemen Legacy settled towards the rear made some ground without threatening. Top Gun had an excuse after a prominent run wide without cover the entire trip from gate 10.
