Racing Incident Report
Race Seven : (665) - LEI YUE MUN PARK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
Horse No 4 NEVER PETER OUT (J200) M L Yeung After the event M L Yeung stated that the instructions were to attempt to find cover.
He said when caught wide and without cover in the early stages NEVER PETER OUT raced too keenly and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 FIGHTING MACHINE (J015) B Avdulla Shortly after the start was crowded between ALLCASH and BUNDLE OF CHARM.
Horse No 7 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) M Chadwick Raced keenly in the early stages.
Lay out under pressure in the Home Straight and over the concluding stages its rider M Chadwick was obliged to continue to correct his mount which restricted his ability to fully ride DRAGON AIR FORCE out to the finish.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 CHILL KAKA (J486) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 FAST SPEED (K351) H T Mo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 11 NORTHERN BEAST (H233) P N Wong After the event Apprentice P N Wong stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position.
She said NORTHERN BEAST was able to lead the event but gave ground in the Home Straight and, in her opinion, did not appreciate racing on the All Weather surface.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The well-backed Dragon Air Force kept on gamely after rushing to the lead 200m out following a one-off trip from better than midfield for a third win from seven straight runs on dirt. He handled the rise in trip with aplomb. Odds-on favourite Chill Kaka ran on nicely to finish a close second after a wide trip with cover from midfield. It was another fine effort up in grade after back-to-back wins. Plunged late in betting, Talents Ambition ran on nicely down the outside carrying top weight to just miss second after making his run three from the rear. He is honest as the day is long on this surface. Allcash ran on well for fourth without threatening the top three after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort from 10 local starts on his return to the all-weather track. Turin Mascot came from near last for fifth. It was a better effort on recent runs. Fighting Machine ran on without threatening after making his run two from the rear. Bundle Of Charm had his chance but didn't find much when asked for more after a box-seat run.
