After hitting the lead 100m out along the inside from midfield, Kaholo Angel just scrambled in for a second win from his past three starts. Victory Sky ran on strongly near the outside to finish a close second after a wide trip travelling third last from gate 11. He's a winner waiting to happen with placings in three of his past four starts. Sovereign Fund ran on nicely with two underneath him to finish a close third after slotting one off with cover travelling better than midfield from gate nine. It was a good run back in a higher grade after a win in Class Four. Superb Boy kept on well for fourth after making his run on the back of the leader Dragon Four Seas. It was an improved performance. The well-backed Fun Elite only plodded after a prominent run on the fence. It was another honest performance, but he just hasn't been good enough at this level. Dragon Four Seas weakened over the last 100m after working hard to lead 800m out from gate 10. Favourite Golden Rise never landed a blow from behind midfield. He came up flat after filling the frame in back-to-back runs following a win.

Horse No 2 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) Z Purton After the event Z Purton stated that when caught wide in the early and middle stages his mount raced keenly.

He said as a result in the Home Straight ETERNAL FORTUNE did not respond to his riding and gave ground.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 4 DRAGON FOUR SEAS (J317) A Badel Bumped on jumping.

Over the concluding stages could not be fully tested when racing tight between KAHOLO ANGEL and SOVEREIGN FUND, both of which shifted ground slightly.

Horse No 6 GOLDEN RISE (H242) A Atzeni After the event A Atzeni stated that his mount did not travel comfortably when positioned inside of other runners close to the rail.

He added that in the Home Straight GOLDEN RISE did not respond strongly to his riding.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 7 STAR SATYR (K231) M Chadwick Approaching the 250 Metres shifted in when racing greenly and was steadied away from WARRIORS DREAM.

Horse No 9 VICTORY SKY (J540) K C Leung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Raced wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 10 WARRIORS DREAM (K255) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

From the outside barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

In the middle stages raced keenly.

For some distance near the 600 Metres was steadied away from VICTORY SKY.

Horse No 12 SOVEREIGN FUND (J402) K Teetan Jumped only fairly and then made contact with DRAGON FOUR SEAS.

27 April 2025 Sha Tin Racemeeting - Race 4 (623) HEALTHY HAPPY - K C Leung was warned in relation to using the whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner on one occasion near the 100 Metres.

13 April 2025 Sha Tin Racemeeting - Race 6 (586) The Department of Veterinary Regulation Welfare and Biosecurity Policy (DVRWBP) have advised the Stewards that ZETTA FORCE, which finished 6th in the aforementioned race, was subject to an endoscopic examination after the race at the request of trainer T P Yung.

The Veterinary Surgeon advised this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

However, due to an administrative error, the finding was not reported to the Stewards during the racemeeting.

Subsequently, the DVRWBP have required ZETTA FORCE to pass an official veterinary examination prior to racing again, which was satisfactorily completed on Monday, 28 April 2025.

The DVRWBP have implemented remedial measures to ensure the accuracy of the process in future.
