Horse No 1 CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410) J Orman Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race.

Horse No 3 GENEVA (J114) B Avdulla From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 5 SUPER LEGENDS (H364) J McDonald Near the 450 Metres was steadied when crowded by TAI VICTORY (A Badel) which shifted out.
A Badel was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 6 RIGHTEOUS ARION (H059) M Chadwick Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 BIG RETURN (K192) K De Melo Bounded on jumping and lost ground.
Horse No 10 TAI VICTORY (K124) A Badel After the event A Badel reported that from an inside barrier he was asked to take up a more forward position to make use of the favourable barrier.
Horse No 12 FREE PONY (K229) M L Yeung After the event M L Yeung stated that his instructions from the outside barrier were to ride his mount in a conservative manner.
Trainer T P Yung confirmed the instructions and said he issued such instructions as FREE PONY had raced in a disappointing manner when ridden in a forward position at its previous race starts in Hong Kong.

Masterofmyuniverse had an ideal run one off behind midfield and ran down Call Me Glorious 50m out to make it three wins from eight starts. He was reunited with his favourite rider Zac Purton. Call Me Glorious gave a cheeky sight in front for second from gate 10. It was his best effort with blinkers back on from nine starts this term. Super Legends produced another honest performance after travelling midfield on the fence. Akashvani kept on well for fourth after a prominent run. It was a positive performance up in grade following a win and second to start his career in Class Four. Aurora Patch gradually faded after tracking the speed from gate five. He will be a force to be reckoned with if he finds his way into Class Four. Geneva ran on without threatening after making his run one from the rear. He was a shade disappointing carrying seven pounds more following a win. Righteous Arion ran on late down the outside to finish next best after settling fourth last from a wide draw. He rarely produces a bad run over 1,200m.
