Horse No 1 KA YING RISING (J062) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 SATONO REVE (K907) J Moreira Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 LUCKY SWEYNESSE (G180) J McDonald Approaching the 500 Metres was steadied away from SATONO REVE.
Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
After the event J McDonald reported that his mount was coughing post-race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 LUGAL (K903) Y Kawada Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by INVINCIBLE SAGE which shifted in.
Horse No 6 HELIOS EXPRESS (H302) H Bowman From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 DANON MCKINLEY (K935) D Lane On jumping was bumped by BEAUTY WAVES which shifted in.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.
Horse No 9 LUCKY WITH YOU (E356) L Ferraris Near the 850 Metres was taken wider by BEAUTY WAVES.
Horse No 10 BEAUTY WAVES (H294) A Atzeni Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
In the early and middle stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres was checked to avoid KA YING RISING when being crossed by that runner.
BEAUTY WAVES then raced wide and without cover thereafter.
Horse No 11 MAGIC CONTROL (J333) C Soumillon Trainer W K Mo confirmed that from a wide barrier he had instructed C Soumillon to go forward and lead.
He said he issued such instructions today as MAGIC CONTROL had raced in a disappointing manner over 1200 Metres when ridden conservatively in the early stages.
Horse No 12 COPARTNER PRANCE (H408) J Orman Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 13 A SHIN FENCER (K936) C Williams After the event C Williams reported that his mount did not feel comfortable in its action behind when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Ka Ying Rising settled one off in midfield, hit the front 250m out and won with plenty in hand for a 13th win and sweep of this season's Speed Series from 15 starts. He's the world's best sprinter. Japan's Satano Reve just won the battle for second over Helios Express after a one-off trip from behind midfield. Helios Express dashed well to just miss second after making his run at the rear from the widest draw. He's as honest as the day is long. Last season's race winner Invincible Sage battled on for fourth without threatening the top three after a box-seat run. It was one of his better runs this term. Lugal ran on well for fifth after making his run one from the rear. Lucky Sweynesse made some ground late for sixth after making his run three from the rear. He needed the outing after fetlock surgery 12 months back. Magic Control was on his tippy toes 100m out after darting straight to the front from gate 11. He's a 1,000m specialist. Copartner Prance only plodded when asked for more after a prominent run wide without cover.
