Racing Incident Report
Race Nine : (542) - EGRET HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SING DRAGON (J141) P N Wong On jumping was crowded between CALL ME GLORIOUS and GLORY ELITE.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 2 GLORY ELITE (H311) K C Leung Knuckled over on jumping and became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) M F Poon After the event, M F Poon reported that his mount did not appreciate the kickback during the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410) J Orman Bumped on jumping.
Horse No 5 GUMMY GUMMY (H089) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.
Held up for clear running between the 450 Metres and the 350 Metres.
Horse No 6 MASK RIDER (K169) K Teetan After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses but gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of MASK RIDER was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race start.
Before being allowed to race again, MASK RIDER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 7 SPORTS LEGEND (H456) C L Chau After the event, C L Chau stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing on the pace with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time.
He said as a result SPORTS LEGEND gave ground in the Home Straight but was still disappointing.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of SPORTS LEGEND was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, SPORTS LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Additions to Racing Incidents Report of 23 March 2025 Sha Tin Racemeeting Race 3 ANOTHER ZONDA - From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
HAPPY SHOOTER - From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Race 6 BEATO - Eased near the 250 Metres when crowded by SPECIAL HEDGE which shifted in.
Race 7 PACKING ANGEL - The Veterinary Officer reported that the horse had sustained a bone injury to both knees after racing.
Before being allowed to race again, PACKING ANGEL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Race 10 MONDIAL - Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres behind LIVEANDLETLIVE.
SKY HEART - As part of the official veterinary examination process the horse has undergone diagnostic imaging which has revealed minor changes to both front fetlock joints that will be managed under veterinary supervision.
SKY HEART will continue to be monitored and will undergo an additional assessment by a Veterinary Officer later in the week.

Trainer P F Yiu was fined the sum of $5,000 for breaching Stewards' Instruction 20 by failing to comply with a requirement of the representative of the Head of Raceday Operations, Tracks and Racing Facilities on 19 March 2025 in that he opened the entrance gate to the Large All Weather Track without seeking permission to do so when a riderless horse was being attended to during this period.

Racing Laboratory tests of FAIRY HORSE, THE CONCENTRATION, WORLD HERO, SOARING BRONCO, LEATHER MASTER, SUPER STRONG KID, BINGO BABE, CROSSBORDERPEGASUS, LUCKY SYMPHONY, GOLD MASTER, KASA PAPA, GOOD LUCK BABE, MONARCH COUNTY, PEARL OF PANG'S , SUNLIGHT POWER, VOYAGE SAMURAI, LIFELINE EXPRESS, GENEVA, JUNEAU PRIDE, EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS, HONG LOK GOLF and SKY JEWELLERY (15.3.25) proved negative.

Post-time favourite Must Go travelled two and three wide with cover from behind midfield and quickened very well to win going away 200m out for his second win from his past three starts. He loves the dirt 1,200m. Early favourite Dragon Air Force showed a good turn of foot to just get up for second after a patient ride third last. He's racing very well following a move to dirt racing. Gummy Gummy ran on well for third after a rails run from midfield. He is in good form after a near win last start. Galaxy Witness came from last to spice up the quartet. It was a typical performance. Sing Dragon made ground late for fifth after getting posted four and five wide without cover travelling midfield for the entirety of the race from gate 11. He had a clear excuse. Glory Elite gradually faded after tracking the leader Candlelight Dinner from the widest draw. It wasn't a bad effort at his first go on the surface. G Liner made some ground late without menacing after making his run one from the rear. Mask Rider was disappointing after a prominent run with cover.
