Race Eight : (531) - FURORE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 LADY'S CHOICE (H155) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 NUCLEOZOR (K285) C Soumillon Near the 250 Metres bumped with FRANCIS MEYNELL.
Horse No 3 MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE (J325) R Moore When questioned, R Moore stated that the intention was from an outside barrier was to ride MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE in a conservative manner.
He said today MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE was reluctant to jump and as a result settled at the tail of the field.
He added that MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE travelled satisfactorily during the event and as he was positioned back in the field he elected to take an inside run making the Home Turn and in the early part of the Home Straight.
He added after being briefly held up near the 200 Metres MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE finished the race off well.
He said, in his opinion, MASTEROFMYUNIVERSE may be better suited with a gear change for its next race start.

Horse No 4 PAKISTAN LEGACY (J363) J Moreira Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) H Bentley Jumped only fairly.
In the early stages raced keenly and got its head up when being crossed by RIGHTEOUS ARION.
Approaching the 300 Metres was taken wider by BALLISTIC WIN which shifted out to improve.
Near the 250 Metres bumped with NUCLEOZOR.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 CRIMSON FLASH (K173) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 9 SPEEDY TRIDENT (K230) K De Melo Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Horse No 10 WARRIORS DREAM (K255) K Teetan Blundered on jumping and then shortly after became unbalanced when bumped by SPEEDY TRIDENT which shifted out slightly.
Horse No 11 BALLISTIC WIN (J040) B Thompson Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a tight run between RIGHTEOUS ARION and FRANCIS MEYNELL.

Lady's Choice easily cleared to lead from gate 10 and never looked back straightening a length on top for a fifth win over the Sha Tin 1,200m and third this season from 29 career starts. He appreciated both a down grade and return to his favourite course and distance. Pakistan Legacy stayed on second best after a box-seat run. He will win a race soon after placing in two of three local starts. Favourite Masterofmyuniverse wove a run late near the inside for third settling last after a slow start from gate 11. It's only a matter of time before he returns to the winners' circle after placings in his past two of three starts. Righteous Arion kept on gamely for fourth after a one-out, one-back run. He rarely produces a bad run at either track. Ballistic Win ran on late near the outside for fifth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was a positive showing up in grade following a win. Goko Win produced a grinding effort from better than midfield on the fence. He will be a force to be reckoned with shortly in Class Four.
