Race Four : (527) - PING HAI STAR HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ENJOY GOLF (J222) H Bowman Jumped awkwardly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H379) C Soumillon Jumped awkwardly.
After the event, C Soumillon reported that his mount did not appreciate the "Good to Firm??track conditions.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 AHREN (K183) C L Chau Leaving the 800 Metres was eased when it lay in towards YEE CHEONG SPIRIT when that runner shifted to the outside of KING SHOW.
Near the 100 Metres C L Chau dropped his left rein for a number of strides.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 QUICK CONTRIBUTION (K112) B Avdulla Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out to the finish when racing in restricted room between PARTERRE and ENJOY GOLF, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Near the 200 Metres was eased when crowded between PARTERRE and TEAM HAPPY which shifted in and away from ENJOY GOLF.
Horse No 6 HAPPY BOYS (J545) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 7 MAJESTIC DELIGHT (K189) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 8 SIGHT DREAMER (J542) R Moore From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the event, R Moore reported that his mount lay out throughout the middle stages and near the 800 Metres was steadied when it shifted out towards ELEGANT LIFE.
Horse No 10 KING SHOW (K047) K Teetan In the middle stages raced keenly.
Near the 900 Metres was steadied away from ENJOY GOLF.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
For some distance near the 150 Metres then raced tight between TEAM HAPPY and GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY which lay in.
Horse No 11 AMAZING RUN (H401) C Williams Jumped awkwardly and lost ground and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.
Near the 350 Metres was briefly held up for clear running between MAJESTIC DELIGHT and KING SHOW.
Over the final 150 Metres AMAZING RUN then did not secure clear running and as a result could not be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 TEAM HAPPY (J218) A Atzeni After the 200 Metres shifted in and away from ENJOY GOLF and made contact with QUICK CONTRIBUTION.
Horse No 13 LUCKY PLANET (H235) M Chadwick Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 14 GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) M F Poon Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.

Lucky Planet led from gate nine and never looked back after straightening nearly three lengths on top for second win and first at Sha Tin from 21 starts. Enjoy Golf stayed on well for second after sitting third in the run with cover from gate six. He's a winner waiting to happen with seconds in four straight runs. Parterre found a couple too good after a boxseat run. He is close to a win on the back of two pleasing efforts following a downgrade. Ahren ran on well with one wider out for fourth after getting caught wide with cover travelling behind midfield from gate 11. Sensationally-backed Goldentronicmighty kept on well for fifth after a handy run wide without cover the entire trip from gate five. He will be a force to be reckoned with if he finds his way into Class Five. Elegant Life made ground late without threatening from near the rear. He's still trying to find a rating bottom at his 10th time of asking. Quick Contribution made only a mild bid after a rails run from midfield. He's still a work in progress but has shown some ability.
