Horse No 1 VIVA GRACIOUSNESS (J079) M Chadwick Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 THESIS (H111) A Atzeni Held up for clear running making the Home Turn.
Horse No 3 CELESTIAL HARMONY (K059) B Thompson Jumped awkwardly.
Lay in in the early part of the Home Straight.
Horse No 4 THE AZURE (J227) L Ferraris In the early stages raced ungenerously when being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover behind INTREPID WINNER.
Horse No 5 THE WAY WE WIN (J493) E C W Wong From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 HIGHLAND RAHY (J298) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 AMAZING AWARD (J236) K Teetan Near the 1100 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 SMART CITY (J213) M F Poon Approaching the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid THE AZURE.
Near the 1100 Metres was checked to avoid INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss.
Horse No 10 INTREPID WINNER (G144) D McDonogh Near the 1100 Metres went amiss when it sustained an injury to its right front leg.
Samples were taken from the horse.
Horse No 11 CONFRINGO (J322) H Bentley Slow to begin.
Near the 1300 Metres became unbalanced when crowded by AMAZING AWARD which, after improving to the inside of THE AZURE (L Ferraris), was then taken in by THE AZURE before THE AZURE was corrected by its rider.
A short distance later, SUPER TREASURE (Y L Chung) shifted in, resulting in THE AZURE then racing tight to the inside of SUPER TREASURE.
Both L Ferraris and Y L Chung were advised to exercise more care.
Near the 1100 Metres was steadied away from INTREPID WINNER when INTREPID WINNER went amiss.

Highland Rahy coasted home well in hand after enjoying a soft time in front from gate seven for a first win at his 13th local start. It was not a surprise after filling the frame in three of four other Valley 1,650m runs this term. Favourite Viva Graciousness found one too good after enjoying all the favours in the box seat. It was another genuine performance despite carrying top weight. Thesis ran on steadily along the inside for third after a prominent run on the fence. He was able to back up a win last start despite carrying five pounds more. Firefoot was one-paced over the concluding stages to finish a distant fourth after tracking the winner from gate six. He went only OK. Amazing Award ran on late to just get the head down for fifth after making his run towards the rear from gate 11. He didn't get the race run to suit. The Azure ran on steadily after a rails run from behind midfield. It was another honest effort. Smart City just failed to get up for a pay slip after making his run one from the rear. He hasn't disgraced in recent runs but is still trying to find a rating bottom. Intrepid Winner went amiss 1,100m out.
