Race Eight : (464) - SING WOO HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213) R Moore After the event, R Moore stated that although obliged to race three wide, he had cover throughout the race.
He said in the Home Straight BUNDLE OF CHARM lay in and finished the race off only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 AURORA LADY (J066) A Atzeni Bumped shortly after the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 WINGS OF WAR (H162) H Bowman Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 GALLANT VALOUR (H323) B Avdulla Shortly after the start raced tight to the inside of AURORA LADY which shifted in slightly.
Horse No 7 NORDIC DRAGON (G467) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of PRAWNS ELEVEN.
Horse No 8 PRAWNS ELEVEN (J140) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 9 AUTOMATED (K177) M L Yeung Shortly after the start was crowded for room between GALLANT VALOUR and CALIFORNIA TOUCH which shifted out slightly.

Following a speed-tracking run from gate five, Aurora Lady was too smart after moving to the lead 150m out to ring up a fourth win from 10 starts this term with a return to his favourite Valley 1,200m. Well-backed late, Prawns Eleven zipped home late to just snatch second after being ridden cold at the rear from gate 11. He has produced mixed results in eight starts this term but has notched three placings over the Valley 1,200m. Gallant Valour just missed second prize money after a prominent run one off the fence. It was another solid effort carrying more weight following a win. Early favourite Kyrus Dragon ran on late to win a blanket finish for fourth after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He rarely produces a bad run over this course and distance. California Touch grudgingly gave way after dictating the run from gate two. It was positive showing following arthroscopic knee surgery. Monta Frutta came up one paced after a box-seat run. It was a better effort with a switch to the Valley 1,200m at his third start this term. Punted late, Wings Of War wasn't beaten far after a wide trip without cover.
