Race Nine : (455) - CITI INSURANCE SERVICES HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
Horse No 4 CHAIN OF GOLD (J138) H Bentley Approaching the finishing line could not be fully ridden out when positioned close to BEAUTY CRESCENT.
Horse No 5 KEMPES (J265) J Orman When under pressure in the Home Straight lay in and had some difficulty obtaining clear running near the 300 Metres.
Horse No 7 TAMRA BLITZ (G237) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 SUPER JOY N FUN (J164) C L Chau Noted to have blood at the left nostril after the race.
An endoscopic examination conducted on SUPER JOY N FUN found that there was no blood in its trachea and therefore the blood in the nostril was determined to be not coming from the lungs and as such the horse was deemed not to have bled.
Horse No 9 MR VIGOR (K164) D McDonogh From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
In the early stages raced keenly and got its head up.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Brilliant Express never looked back to win in a very good time after emerging the leader from gate 10. He's really come into his own to win back-to-back races despite a rise in class. Tamra Blitz stayed on a clear-cut second without threatening the winner after a prominent run wide without cover until slotting one off 1,000m out. He's building towards a win. Beauty Cresent ran on steadily for third after a wide without cover trip from midfield. He's as honest as the day is long but cannot win. Winning Gold made some ground to just take fourth following a one-off trip from midfield. Yuen Long Elite ran on well to just miss fourth after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield. It wasn't a bad effort after the tough run in a higher grade. Solid Win made inroads late with one wider after settling third last despite gate one. He has been doing his best work late in back-to-back runs in this grade following a Class Four win. Chain Of Gold ran on without threatening after a rails run from behind midfield.
