Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Beauty Destiny ran on from midfield on the rails to hit the lead 100m out and prove much too good for a fifth win from 17 starts and fourth from his past five starts. King Of Fighters ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was an improved effort after going OK on one of his first two local runs over 1,400m. Aurio ran on nicely for a placing after a rails run from behind midfield. It was a good effort at his first Valley start. Beauty Infinity dashed well for fourth settling last from gate 11. It was a solid effort following a fetlock injury in December. Sports Legend found a few too smart after claiming the lead near the 200m following a speed-tracking run outside Hong Kong Hall. He's gone all right in both starts following a tendon injury in May. Thunder Prince just held his ground after a wide without cover trip from better than midfield. He might be one worth keeping safe shortly in Class Four. Karate Express ran on without threatening settling second last from gate seven. He just hasn't been able to hold his own in three Class Three starts this term.
