Racing Incident Report
Race One : (438) - TSING YI HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 MILES AWAY (J221) T Marquand Jumped only fairly.
From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 2 WORLD HERO (J413) L Ferraris After the event, L Ferraris reported that near the 550 Metres his mount became unbalanced when bumped by ALMIGHTY KICK.
Horse No 3 FAIRY HORSE (J144) E C W Wong Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between ALLOY KING and STERLING WONGCHOY.
Approaching the 550 Metres, when racing keenly, improved to the outside of DOUBLE BINGO and as a result made contact with ALMIGHTY KICK.
FAIRY HORSE then continued to race keenly in the middle stages and refused to settle.
Leaving the 200 Metres was shifted to the inside of BEAU GOSSE to obtain clear running.
Horse No 4 STERLING WONGCHOY (H273) H Bentley Bumped shortly after the start.
Approaching the first turn near the 1000 Metres was momentarily crowded between WINNING HEART which shifted in slightly and BEAU GOSSE which got its head up and shifted out when making the turn awkwardly.
Was left racing wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.
Horse No 5 TALENTS SUPREMO (H133) C L Chau Shortly after the start raced in restricted room between BEAU GOSSE and SAME TO YOU, both of which shifted ground slightly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 WINNING HEART (H065) A Badel Raced wide and without cover until near the 600 Metres.
Horse No 7 ALMIGHTY KICK (J254) L Hewitson Slow to begin.
Near the 550 Metres was bumped.
Horse No 8 SAME TO YOU (H057) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) H Doyle Passing the 200 Metres was eased when FAIRY HORSE shifted to the outside of BEAU GOSSE to obtain clear running.
After the event, H Doyle stated that, in her opinion, the horse would be better suited by being stepped up in distance in its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 HOSS (H055) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 BEAU GOSSE (G389) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly.
Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres over-raced, got its head up and shifted out when being restrained.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Same To You dictated the pace from gate four, turned the final bend two lengths on top and kept finding for a second win from seven outings this term. Hoss made a good bid late with one wider out for second after settling second last from gate 11. He relished a return to his favourite Valley track after hitting the line with purpose in two of three consecutive Sha Tin starts. Fairy Horse ran on nicely near the inside to just take third after a rails run from behind midfield. It was a better effort. Firming favourite Talents Supremo came to win the race 200m out following a one-off trip from behind midfield but peaked on his run 50m out. The big weight took its toll in the end for the class dropper. Winning Heart just held his ground after getting posted wide chasing the speed until slotting one-out, one-back 550m out from gate nine. He had an excuse. World Hero made some ground to finish a close sixth after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Sterling Wongchoy was a non-factor after getting left without cover three wide travelling better than midfield.
