Sky Heart tracked the speed from gate 11, moved to the lead 400m out and just scrambled in for a third win from nine starts. He had been knocking on the door in two other starts this term following an injury and colic. Winning Wing ran on well to make it close on the wire after a one-off trip from better than midfield. Another World stayed on well for third after a one-out, one-back run. It was a cheeky effort over a longer trip after two wins and a second in three prior runs over 1,400m. Embraces ran on nicely for fourth after a one-off trip settling behind midfield from gate 13. He continues to race well for fourths from outside draws in back-to-back runs following a pair of wins. Favourite Bundle Award stayed on a non-threatening fifth after repeatedly bumping with Another World in the stretch drive following a rails run from midfield. Excellence Value ran on steadily near the inside without menacing following a rails run from midfield.

Horse No 1 ALLCASH (K190) E C W Wong Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 3 BUNDLE AWARD (K020) B Avdulla Approaching the 400 Metres became unbalanced when it shifted to the outside of SKY HEART and made contact with ANOTHER WORLD on two occasions.

B Avdulla pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 400 Metres (see ANOTHER WORLD).

Near the 250 Metres raced tight between ANOTHER WORLD and SKY HEART when endeavouring to continue to improve between those runners.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 NEW FUTURE FOLKS (J418) B Thompson After the event, B Thompson stated that at its last start his mount was able to dictate terms without being pressured in front.

He said today NEW FUTURE FOLKS was pressured in the lead by SKY HEART which resulted in the horse not finishing the race off in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 BEAUTY VIVA (K155) T Marquand Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 11 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) K C Leung The Stewards considered an application made by Trainer F C Lor that the horse be declared a non-runner on the basis that it had been denied a fair start.

After taking evidence from the Starter Mr A Speechley, Jockey K C Leung and Mr Lor, the Stewards established that EVERYONE'S STAR reared as the start was effected when being assisted by a starting gate handler.

As the Stewards were satisfied that such occurrence occurred simultaneously to the start being effected, EVERYONE'S STAR was declared a runner.

Before being allowed to race again, EVERYONE'S STAR will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.

Near the 200 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of DRAGON JOY to obtain clear running.

Horse No 13 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) A Atzeni B Avdulla (BUNDLE AWARD) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 400 Metres he allowed his mount to shift out whilst riding it along, resulting in BUNDLE AWARD making heavy contact with ANOTHER WORLD on two occasions and taking ANOTHER WORLD from its rightful running.

B Avdulla was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 5 March 2025 at Happy Valley.

In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record.

Near the 250 Metres made contact with BUNDLE AWARD.

Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
