Racing Incident Report
Race One : (427) - CAMELLIA HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 CHILLI BABA (G339) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.
After the event, L Ferraris reported that with the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time and also his mount coming back in distance, CHILLI BABA did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to hold its position despite his efforts and as a result became detached from the field.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 GALLANT CROWN (D359) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 LITTLE FAIRY (H206) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between GALLANT CROWN and WINNING SEVEN.
After the event, M Chadwick reported that his mount did not travel well during the race and made a respiratory noise.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 PODIUM (H173) H Bowman Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 MANYTHANKS FOREVER (J065) H Bentley Between the 400 Metres and the 50 Metres was badly held up for clear running.
Horse No 6 ON THE LASH (J182) A Atzeni Bumped at the start.
Horse No 7 FRUITY WARRIOR (J035) E C W Wong After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong confirmed the instructions were to take up a forward position.
He said after crossing MANYTHANKS FOREVER, FRUITY WARRIOR raced keenly, particularly when ON THE LASH improved to its outside.
He added under pressure in the Home Straight FRUITY WARRIOR gave ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 MULTIDARLING (H148) A Hamelin Bumped at the start.
Near the 400 Metres was briefly held up for clear running.
Horse No 13 WINNING SEVEN (J005) P N Wong Raced keenly in the early stages.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 14 LEATHER MASTER (H034) A Badel Bumped at the start.

Gallant Crown was ridden perfectly better than midfield on the fence and edged clear after hitting the lead 300m out for a seventh career win from 61 starts and first over 1,600m from five starts. Ivictoriam ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was clearly his best effort from 10 starts at his first attempt over 1,600m. Casa Legend worked home nicely for third travelling three wide with cover from behind midfield. It was a return to form over the course and distance of a win in September. Gold Tack ran on nicely down the outside for fourth after making his run second last and three wide from gate 10. He appears from his past two runs to have turned the corner for the better. Smashed late in betting, Leather Master ran on steadily without threatening after a rails run from midfield. It was his best run from five starts.
