Race Two : (408) - TVB YAN OI TONG CHARITY SHOW HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) K Teetan From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Trainer P C Ng confirmed that from a wide barrier the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages.
Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
Again near the 100 Metres became held up for clear running behind MASTER TRILLION and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
Horse No 2 MASTER TRILLION (J442) Z Purton Near the 700 Metres was taken wider by CHARMING BABE which shifted to the outside of GLORY CLOUD.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 HYPER DRAGON BALL (G450) H T Mo After the event, H T Mo stated that after being slow to begin his mount became detached from the field despite his efforts to ride it along in the early stages when it did not show sufficient pace to hold its position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 GLORY CLOUD (H320) E C W Wong After the event, Apprentice E C W Wong could offer no explanation for his mount's failure to finish the race off.

Horse No 6 LUCKY SAM GOR (K114) L Ferraris Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Horse No 7 TOP TIME (K006) K De Melo Held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres.
Horse No 8 MR JUSTICE (K072) C L Chau From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 300 Metres lay in and brushed the running rail.
Horse No 9 GALLANT EPOCH (J451) L Hewitson Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 HAPPY AGAIN (J117) M Chadwick After the event, M Chadwick advised that his instructions from a wide barrier were to take up a forward position.
Horse No 11 HE WAS ME (J535) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the left side of its barrier and became unbalanced.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 700 Metres was taken wider by MASTER TRILLION.
Horse No 12 MEEPMEEP (H234) A Badel Jumped only fairly.
Horse No EURO ROCKS (H153) M L Yeung Withdrawn on 7.2.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter HE WAS ME.
Before being allowed to race again, EURO ROCKS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Gallant Epoch led from gate two and never looked back after kicking clear by nearly three lengths 200m out for a first win at his fifth start. He put the writing on the wall two runs ago prior to a last-start defeat with excuses. Favourite Master Trillion stayed on well for second without menacing the winner after coming out three wide without cover from better than midfield 600m out. It was a better run on his past few starts from a slightly better draw. Top Time just failed to get up for second after coming off heels for a clear run 200m out following a one-off trip from midfield. He can produce a good run now and then. Sensationally backed Charming Babe just missed a placing after a prominent run one off the fence from gate one. It was an improved performance at his second run down in Class Four. Lucky Sam Gor made noticeable ground late with two wider out for fifth after making his run three from the rear. It was an encouraging debut performance.
