Recap by phillip woo

Ho Ho Star travelled behind midfield on the fence, weaved a run near the inside and quickened nicely to just overhaul Flying Romantic in the last few metres for a first win at his 20th start. Flying Romantic did everything right but get the win after claiming the lead 200m out following a box-seat run. The move to blinkers nearly worked the oracle. Wind Speeder made it close on the wire after a wide trip from midfield. He has been threatening to salute all season long without delivering on a win line. Falcon Court ran on nicely to just miss a placing after a rails run from midfield. It was a good effort at his first start over the Sha Tin 1,200m. The Concentration came from near last and widest out for fifth. It was his best effort from six starts this term on his return to Sha Tin but does prefer 1,400m. Speedy Smartie kept on all right after a wide without cover trip from better than midfield. It was another honest performance.
