Horse No 1 SON PAK FU (G265) B Avdulla Lay in in the Home Straight and approaching the 150 Metres was reluctant to shift to the outside of GORGEOUS WIN to obtain clear running.

Horse No 5 FULL CREDIT (J185) L Hewitson Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping.

Leaving the 50 Metres was briefly held up when improving into a tight run between SUPERB CAPITALIST and BUNDLE OF CHARM.

Gorgeous Win was ridden patiently from second last and just got up in the last couple strides for a fifth win over this course and distance from 21 starts. Baby Crystal wouldn't go down without a fight after turning the final bend two lengths on top dictating things in front from gate six. Punted late Full Credit just failed to get up for second after a prominent run near the inside. He rarely produces a bad run on either surface. Son Pak Fu came from last near the 100m for fourth. It was his best performance from six outings this term. Bundle Of Charm kept on one paced after improving three wide midrace to settle with cover in midfield. He has been a good money spinner for connections. Gummy Gummy had an excuse after working forward to travel midfield following a slow start. Harmony N Blessed found nothing after getting all favours in the box seat. He has disappointed in six straight sprints across both tracks after an upset win in September.
