Favourite Yuen Long Elite had a dream run one off in midfield, hit the lead 200m out and drew clear for a second win from seven starts. Win Speed stayed on well for second after a prominent run near the inside from gate three. He has run well for seconds in two of four starts. Monarch County ran on nicely to just miss second after making his run behind midfield on the fence following a sluggish start. He's building towards a win. Lucky Man ran on steadily for fourth without threatening the top three following a rails run from midfield. It was another honest effort. South Star ran on nicely through the centre to just miss fourth prize money after a patient ride fourth last from gate 12. Golden Darci ran on late for sixth without threatening the top five ridden cold from gate 14. Circuit Fiery faded over the last 100m after drawing level for the front 250m out following a speed-tracking run outside the leader Happy Park for his new trainer.

Race Six : (381) - PARA BADMINTON 1400M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters

Horse No 1 HAPPY PARK (J311) A Atzeni After the event, A Atzeni reported that the only explanation he could offer was that HAPPY PARK may not have run out the 1400 Metres today.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of HAPPY PARK was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.

Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY PARK will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 3 SOUTH STAR (K153) K C Leung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Briefly held up near the 400 Metres.

Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of LUCKY MAN to continue into clear running.

Horse No 4 CHILL KAKA (J486) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 5 HAPPY DAY (G119) C Y Ho A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg due to an injury to the left front fetlock.

Near the 1000 Metres when being crossed by HAPPY PARK got its head up when being steadied away from that runner.

Near the 150 Metres was steadied when it was shifted to the outside of HAPPY PARK which was giving ground.

Near the 150 Metres was briefly crowded between MONARCH COUNTY and WIN SPEED which shifted out.

Horse No PERPETUAL POWER (J326) H T Mo Withdrawn on 24.1.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inappetence) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter THE AUSPICIOUS.
