Recap by phillip woo
Voyage Bubble settled one-out, one-back before moving to the lead 350m and booting clear for a ninth win and third on the bounce from 21 starts. He's clearly the best miler in Hong Kong. Punted late Galaxy Patch dashed late for second without threatening the winner after straightening one from the rear in the eight-horse field. He didn't get the pace to suit. Red Lion ran on well for third after a rails run from midfield. He's shown improvement on each of his five starts this term. Beauty Joy came from last at the top of the straight for fourth. He rarely produces a bad run. Beauty Eternal was on his tippy toes 100m out after working forward three wide to track the leader from the widest draw. He had an excuse. Chancheng Glory only plodded over the last 100m after a one-off trip from midfield. Patch Of Theta failed to fire after a prominent run on the fence. This sort of company was too rich for him.
