Recap by phillip woo

Noisy Boy was well positioned one-off and better than midfield and just got up in the concluding stages to make it two wins on the bounce from four local runs. Winning Dragon ran another cracker to just miss after moving to the lead 350m out following a box-seat run. He's really thrived over 2,000m this season. Favourite Stunning Peach ran on nicely for second after one-off trip from midfield. It was a good run after coming out of a Valley defeat lame early last month. Mickley made good ground through the middle for fourth after making his run five back on the fence. It was an encouraging effort with a step up to 2,000m off only a seven-day rest. Bravehearts got going late for fifth after making his run three from the rear. He was set a harder task carrying more weight. Senor Toba made inroads late after patient ride second last from gate 11. It was a better effort.
