Recap by phillip woo

Firefoot kept on gamely leading 250m out after handing up the lead to sit second 1,100m out for a first win at his seventh start. He did put the writing on the wall when second two runs ago. Amazing Award ran on nicely near the outside for second after biding his time fourth last from gate nine. He's building towards a win in his five starts for his new trainer this term. Smart City ran on steadily for third after a one-off trip behind midfield. He's close to a win after filling the frame in three of his past four starts. Punted late, Youth Power kept on well for fourth after a wide trip without cover settling better than midfield from gate 10. He is holding his condition all right. Tradition dashed late to just take fifth after making his run at the rear from gate 11. He will be a force to be reckoned with soon in in Class Five. Harmony Galaxy was disappointing after occupying a one-out, one-back spot from gate seven. He was not able to back up placings in two of three earlier starts. Escape Route ran on without threatening after a wide trip with cover in midfield. He's still to find a rating bottom and tends to perform better on a wet track.
