Race Six : (187) - BOC CREDIT CARD HANDICAP - Class 3 - 2000Meters

Horse No 1 NATURAL STORM (C461) A Atzeni On jumping was crowded between BRIGHT INHERITANCE and EIGHTEEN CARAT which shifted in.

Horse No 2 SO WE SING (J367) B Thompson Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 4 SUPREME AGILITY (J267) C L Chau Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when held up between BRAVEHEARTS and SUNSTRIDER which shifted out.

Horse No 5 FORTUNATE SON (J446) B Avdulla A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 6 BRAVEHEARTS (H389) M F Poon Jumped only fairly and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 7 EIGHTEEN CARAT (J104) A Badel A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 8 SIMPLE HEDGE (H237) H Bowman Jumped only fairly.

Horse No 9 CALIFORNIATOTALITY (H418) M Chadwick After the event, M Chadwick reported that his instructions were to try and lead the event.

He said when a number of runners to his inside elected to go forward and the early stages were run inside of standard time, he was unable to comply with his instructions and this resulted in CALIFORNIATOTALITY racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 10 FAMILY JEWEL (J390) J McDonald On jumping was bumped by CALIFORNIATOTALITY which shifted out.

Was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.

When questioned regarding his riding on the Home Turn, J McDonald stated that rather than shifting to the outside of BRAVEHEARTS after the 500 Metres, he elected to follow that runner as he felt that was the best horse to take him into the event.

He said after being held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres, FAMILY JEWEL responded well to his riding.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 11 AESTHETICISM (H289) L Hewitson From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Briefly held up near the 400 Metres before being shifted to the inside of BRIGHT INHERITANCE to secure clear running.

Horse No 12 BRIGHT INHERITANCE (J215) Y L Chung After the event, Y L Chung reported that with his mount stepping up in distance and from an inside barrier, he was instructed to hold a more forward position than its previous start.
