Race Seven : (99) - THE SHA TIN TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class G2 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 VOYAGE BUBBLE (E436) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 BEAUTY ETERNAL (H008) Z Purton After the event, Z Purton stated that his mount was able to lead in the early stages without being pressured, but gave ground in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, would derive benefit from today's first up performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 BEAUTY JOY (E058) M Chadwick For a short distance near the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
Horse No 4 GALAXY PATCH (H399) C Y Ho Jumped only fairly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 RED LION (H115) H Bowman After the event, H Bowman stated that his mount travelled well throughout the race, initially responded to his riding in the early part of the Home Straight and, in his opinion, would derive benefit from today's first up performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 THE GOLDEN SCENERY (E379) K Teetan Leaving the 1400 Metres was eased to avoid BEAUTY ETERNAL which shifted in before being corrected by its rider Z Purton.
Approaching the 200 Metres was steadied to avoid VOYAGE BUBBLE when STRAIGHT ARRON was taken out by BEAUTY JOY (M Chadwick) which shifted out.
M Chadwick was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 7 HAPPY TOGETHER (G446) A Badel Withdrawn on 12.10.24 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (heart abnormality).
Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY TOGETHER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Favourite Galaxy Patch turned the final bend third last and wide but quickened nicely going away near the 100m for a seventh win and three on the bounce from 13 starts. Voyage Bubble ran on nicely to win a photo for second after a wide without cover trip from midfield. It was a huge run in defeat carrying top weight. Chancheng Glory just lost second prize after a speed-tracking run from gate 10 off a lightweight. He doesn't know how to produce a bad run over this trip. Straight Arron just failed to get up for a placing after a rail run from midfield. It was a good effort over an inadequate trip following a stable change. Beauty Joy wasn't far off the placings in the end after getting held up for a majority of the straight along the inside following a prominent run. He is as honest as the day is long. The Golden Scenery wasn't good enough after chasing the speed one off in third. Beauty Eternal was on his tippy toes 100m out after rolling to the lead from gate six. He ran below par but was first up following a Champions Mile win in April.
