Recap by phillip woo

Little Fairy quickened nicely to take control near the 100m after for a second win from two starts down in Class Five this season. Dragon Delight stayed on well to finish a clear-cut second after a handy run one off the fence. He relished a return to the course and distance of a win in May. Tattenham ran on steadily after settling on the rail in midfield to fill a placing. It was his best of three runs over the Valley 1,650m following a downgrade. Favourite The Khan only whacked on one-paced after getting all favours in the box seat. It was a shade disappointing effort despite a downgrade. Yeaboi gradually faded after rolling to the lead from gate five. He's limited. Happihood made late ground to finish next best without threatening the top five after biding his time one from the rear. He has shown some signs of life lately over the Valley 1,650m. Podium weakened after working forward four wide to sit outside the leader 1,100m out. Beau Gosse will sleep well after getting caught very wide without cover after travelling better than midfield from gate 11.
