After moving to the lead 150m out after a speed-tracking run, The Concentration got the better of Dragon Kingdom for a maiden win at his second start following a downgrade. It was a vastly improved effort after failing to earn a cheque in eight prior starts. Aromatica stayed on well for second after a box-seat run. It was clearly his best effort from 10 starts at his second outing in the grade. Tactical Command made good ground late for third after a rails run from midfield. He's been building towards a win in his past three starts. Punted late, Jazz Club grabbed fourth by a pimple over Dragon Kingdom after a prominent run with cover from gate 14. He shown a bit more spark in his past two starts. The well-backed Dragon Kingdom gradually faded after dictating the run from gate five. It was his best effort from six starts this term. Chiron ran on without menacing after making his run five back along the fence. Charmander made ground late without ever looking a threat after a patient ride fifth last from a tricky gate.
