Racing Incident Report
Race Five : (640) - ISLE OF MAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 CHEVAL VALIANT (E336) E C W Wong A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 MULTISUPER (G416) L Hewitson Crowded at the start.
Between the 300 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running between SUPER AXIOM and BOTTOMUPTOGETHER and was shifted to the inside of BOTTOMUPTOGETHER to obtain clear running.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 SOLAR UP (J134) M Chadwick Jumped only fairly.
Near the 200 Metres M Chadwick dropped his whip.
As this was the 3rd occasion this season that Jockey Chadwick had dropped his whip, he was issued with a warning.
Horse No 4 WONDERFUL UNICORN (G362) K De Melo Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race.
As this was the second occasion that WONDERFUL UNICORN had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing.
Horse No 5 BOTTOMUPTOGETHER (J316) Z Purton Jumped only fairly, shifted in at the start and bumped TALENTS SUPREMO.
Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid the heels of CHEVAL VALIANT (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted out when not quite clear.
Apprentice Wong was advised to ensure he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 TAIHANG SCENERY (J314) H Bowman Shifted in at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced.
Horse No 7 WINNING MONEY (J116) A Atzeni Crowded at the start.
Horse No 8 FLYING DRAGON (E360) H Bentley Near the 500 Metres TAIHANG SCENERY (H Bowman) shifted to the outside of GUSTY FIGHTER in order to improve and to obtain clear running.
When being shifted to the outside of GUSTY FIGHTER, that runner then shifted out, resulting in TAIHANG SCENERY being taken across FLYING DRAGON which was steadied.
H Bowman was advised to exercise more care and to ensure that there is sufficient racing room when he is improving into similar runs.
Horse No 9 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) C Y Ho A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 GLORIOUS EXPERT (J028) L Ferraris A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 13 TALENTS SUPREMO (H133) K Teetan On jumping was badly crowded between BOTTOMUPTOGETHER which shifted in slightly and CHEVAL VALIANT which shifted out.

Debutant Bottomuptogether responded nicely to take control 200m out for the win after a speed-chasing run from a middle draw as the firming favourite. There's clearly more to come from the three-year-old. Punted late Multisuper stayed on nicely for second after a handy run. He was able to back up a last start win carrying more weight. Specked late Talents Supremo came from last after a slow start to fill a placing. It was a good effort with a step back in distance. Winning Money ran on steadily three from the left from towards the rear to spice up the quartet. It was a better effort after showing little on his debut over the 1,200m. Ruby Sailing stayed on okay from midfield. It was another honest performance, but he does struggle to win. Taihang Scenery ran on reasonably well to finish next best after biding his time three from the rear. It was a positive debut effort. Super Axiom weakened after dictating the run. He couldn't add to a last start win.
