Racing Incident Report
Race Three : (629) - AUTEUIL HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 YEE CHEONG WARRIOR (E025) Z Purton From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the race, Z Purton stated that after settling back in the field his mount found it difficult to make up ground from that position.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 MASTER OF LUCK (G276) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Held up on the Home Turn.
Horse No 3 V LOVE YOU (J048) C L Chau Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
The performance of V LOVE YOU, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, V LOVE YOU will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 BIG TWO (E310) H Bowman In the early stages raced keenly and near the 1400 Metres got its head up when being crossed by DRAGON DELIGHT.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 DRAGON DELIGHT (G395) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 PRESTIGE MOOCHI (H314) B Thompson Shortly after the start was crowded when bumped by EAGLE RUN which shifted in, resulting in PRESTIGE MOOCHI losing ground.
Near the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of DRAGON KINGDOM to continue into clear running.
Horse No 8 DRAGON KINGDOM (E211) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly.
Horse No 11 EAGLE RUN (G415) Y L Chung Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence gave ground in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Dragon Delight kept finding after tracking the speed outside leader Dragon Kingdom for a first win at his 23rd start. He relished a return to this course and distance. Firming favourite Big Two got up late to take second after chasing the speed one off the rail in third. He continues to race well with minor placings in his past five starts. Master Of Luck ran on nicely near the inside to nearly fill a quinella spot after biding his time two from the rear. It was a good effort in a race run to suit those up front. Hang's Choice just missed out on a placing after a prominent run on the fence. It was a return to form from a better draw. Happihood ran on steadily after settling one off the rail in worse than midfield for fifth. Mighty Star came from last at the head of the straight to finish next best. He didn't get race conditions to suit. Yee Cheong Warrior ran on without menacing after a patient ride towards the rear from gate 12. He too wasn't suited by the early track bias for those travelling closer to the speed. V Love You will sleep well after a torrid trip from around midfield.
