Racing Incident Report
Race Five : (612) - THE KOREA RACING AUTHORITY TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 2 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 WHIZZ KID (E392) H Bentley When questioned, H Bentley stated that when he placed his mount under pressure after entering the Home Straight, his left foot slipped from his stirrup which resulted in him having to stop riding WHIZZ KID fully for a number of strides between the 300 Metres and the 250 Metres where he was able to place his foot back in his stirrup at that point.
H Bentley was reminded of his obligation under Rule 103 to report anything which may have affected the running of his horse in a race.
Horse No 4 SEASONS WIT (H223) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
After the race, Z Purton could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 MAJESTIC KNIGHT (G258) H Bowman Shifted in at the start and made contact with the right side of its barrier.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) A Atzeni Bumped at the start.
Leaving the 400 Metres lay in and away from WHIZZ KID, brushed the running rail and became unbalanced.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 NORDIC DRAGON (G467) Y L Chung Approaching the 800 Metres, when racing tight to the inside of SEASONS WIT, lay in and away from that runner and brushed the running rail.
After the 250 Metres lay in and away from HARMONY N BLESSED and again brushed the running rail.
Continued to lay in for the remainder of the event.
Horse No 9 HUMBLE STAR (H125) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with the hindquarters of HARMONY N BLESSED.
For some distance near the 700 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from CARROLL STREET.
Over the concluding stages raced tight between CARROLL STREET and SEASONS WIT.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After peeling into the open 250m out when travelling better than midfield, Majestic Knight took control 100m out for a third win this term and second over the Valley 1,000m. He relished a step back to the minimum Valley trip. Post-time favourite Harmony N Blessed found one too good after getting all the favours in the box seat. He was unable to back up a last-start win in Class Three over the Valley 1,200m. Nervous Witness kept on third best after leading from gate nine. He makes his own luck in front. Well-backed late, Nordic Dragon got up for fourth along the inside after making his run on the fence from midfield. It wasn't a bad effort trying the Valley 1,000m for the first time but he is better suited over a longer trip. Whizz Kid faded to finish next best after a pace-stalking run. He couldn't offset top weight. Duke Wai only beat a few stragglers from the rear of the field. Carroll Street never landed a blow from near last. He's a straight-track specialist. Seasons Wit found nothing travelling three from the rear after a sluggish start. Humble Star never landed a blow settling second last after a tardy start.
