Recap by phillip woo

Early favourite Lifeline Express kept up a strong gallop after hitting the front 250m out following a prominent run one off the fence for a first win at his sixth start. He deserved that after filling the frame in all five prior starts. Punted late Full Credit kept on gamely for second after clearing to the lead 1,000m out from a tricky gate. He was able to build on a pleasing debut effort 21 days ago. Lucky Touch stayed on well for third after a wide without cover trip from midfield. It was an encouraging debut effort. Lucky Planet kept on one paced after going forward three wide to chase the leader from gate 11. Champion Method just held is ground after getting all favours in the box seat. He only went okay with a return to Class Four after having a hard time in Class Three. Amazing Run made headway late near the outside after a patient ride third last from gate 14. He's not far off a bottom. Mario made a mild bid along the inside from behind midfield. It was a shade better effort at his fourth career start.
