Race Five : (347) - ICE HOUSE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 INVINCIBLE MISSILE (C037) L Hewitson Slow to begin.
After the race, L Hewitson reported that his mount was under pressure in the middle stages and failed to finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 DRAGON STAR (H128) K Teetan Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 GOLDEN LINK (D222) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.
Approaching the 1500 Metres was steadied away from INVINCIBLE MISSILE.
After the race, M F Poon advised that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages.
Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions issued.
Horse No 5 STURDY RUBY (H207) M L Yeung Passing the 1500 Metres raced tight to the inside of WIN WIN FIGHTER.
Horse No 6 V LOVE YOU (J048) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly.

Horse No 8 AROMATICA (H437) K C Leung Jumped only fairly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the race, K C Leung reported that his mount raced keenly in the early and middle stages and failed to finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 DRAGON PRIDE (D164) A Hamelin A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 SUPERB MOVE (G304) Y L Chung Over the concluding stages was taken out by STURDY RUBY when that runner shifted to the outside of ATOMIC BEAUTY to secure clear running.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

After making his run four back on the fence, favourite Win Win Fighter quickened nicely for a third career win and first in 406 days. Dragon Star found one just too good after poking his head in front 60m out following a speed-chasing role from gate nine. He's had a good season and the change in tactics to take the sit instead of his usual role in front nearly paid off. Punted late, Atomic Beauty stayed on a close third after getting a dream run in the box seat. He proved an upset win last start was not a fluke. Satirical Glory found a few too good after getting an easy time in front from gate eight. He's not far off a bottom. Sturdy Ruby stayed on next best without threatening the top four after a one-off trip in midfield. He's limited but rarely puts in a bad run over the Valley 1,650m. Superb Move lost fifth late after getting caught wide without cover from midfield. He'll be a force to be reckoned with when he drops to Class Five. Old-timer Invincible Missile never let down travelling three from the rear. Age does appear to be getting the better of him.
