Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (59) - CHENGDU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
BEAUTY UNITY jumped awkwardly and as a result its rider, K C Leung, lost the use of his left iron before regaining it near the 1000 Metres.
In this incident, BEAUTY UNITY lost a significant amount of ground.
DUBLIN STAR was slow to begin.
NOBLE ONE over-raced in the early and middle stages and made the turn near the 900 Metres awkwardly.
Passing the 700 Metres, SIGHT HERO hung out and for some distance was then awkwardly placed inside the heels of NISHIKADO.
After passing the 300 Metres, SIGHT HERO had some difficulty obtaining clear running until near the 200 Metres.
LADY'S CHOICE raced wide and without cover throughout the race.
A veterinary inspection of SIGHT HERO immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.
A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY UNITY and SIMPLY MAVERICK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
KA YING CHEER and LADY'S CHOICE were sent for sampling.

Ka Ying Cheer fought back when headed by Lady's Choice 250m out to get bob down late for a smart debut win as the favourite. He'll remain in the grade and can win again. Punted late Lady's Choice was game in defeat after poking his head in front 250m out after a prominent run wide without cover from gate 12 carrying top weight. It was a solid effort. Pins Prince stayed on a distant third after travelling in the one-one spot. He's building towards a win in both starts this term. Noble One ran on steadily to fill the frame after a wide with cover run better than midfield. He's honest but has trouble winning. Super Wise Dragon ran on reasonably well after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield. He's still a work in progress. Sight Hero ran on late without threatening after travelling awkwardly from behind midfield on the fence. Bulb Prince made a mild bid after a oneoff run from behind midfield. He needs a longer trip. Newcomer Beauty Unity appeared to have trouble with his stirrup soon after jump and was a non-factor.
