Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (477) - KALANCHOE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
After being loaded into the barriers, ENCHANTING IBIS became fractious, reared on a number of occasions and momentarily rested its left front leg on the barrier gates.
Before being allowed to race again, ENCHANTING IBIS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
SERGEANT PEPPER shifted out at the start and bumped LUCKY GOR.
LE PLUS VITE began only fairly and was then crowded for room on jumping between SAVVY DELIGHT and DASHING GENIUS which was bumped and taken out by KOWLOON EAST STAR which began awkwardly.
SUNSHINE LEGENDARY, which was fractious in the barriers, was crowded for room on jumping outside TYCOON'S CHOICE which began awkwardly and shifted out.
Passing the 600 Metres, MULTIMORE shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of SERGEANT PEPPER.
Approaching and passing the 300 Metres, KOWLOON EAST STAR got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
Near the 100 Metres, SAVVY DELIGHT was shifted in away from the heels of MULTIMORE (H T Mo) which shifted out when being ridden along.
H T Mo was reprimanded.
A veterinary inspection of ENCHANTING IBIS and LE PLUS VITE immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in their trachea.
SUNSHINE LEGENDARY, FLYING SEASON and CHEVAL VALIANT were sent for sampling.

Flying Season responded nicely to take control 120m out after a handy run on the stands side. He lived up to an eye-catching debut effort and the future remains bright. Wellbacked Cheval Valiant kept on gamely to just hold newcomer Lucky Gor for second after dictating the run from a wide draw. He's close to a win. Early favourite Lucky Gor plugged on well to make it close for second after a prominent run in the center of the course. He'll certainly reap benefit from this effort. Multimore stayed on well travelling worse than midfield on the far side from gate one to finish a non-threatening fourth. He backed up well following a win in Class Five. Kowloon East Star was on his tippy toes 150m out after chasing the leader in the centre of the course. He appears to be on his mark following a win two runs back. Sunshine Legendary finished well after making his run at the back along the grandstand side early on. It was a pleasing run on debut. Savvy Delight ran on without menacing near the far side from towards the rear. The switch to Sha Tin failed to work the oracle after rallying nicely last start over the Valley 1,000m. Flying High weakened over the final 200m after chasing the speed in the centre of the track.
