Favourite Galaxy Witness quickened nicely to take control 100m out after barging his way into the open 300m out travelling five back on the fence following a slow start to remain unbeaten in three starts. He clearly has a tonne of points in hand. Super Dynamite closed well to grab second 50m out after checking off heels 300m travelling behind midfield. He does appear from this run to be close to a win. Punted late En Pointe ran on steadily for a placing after straightening one-off in midfield. It was another genuine effort up in grade following back-to-back wins. Outsider Colonel just put the head down for fourth after poking his head in front chasing the leader Massive Action at the 150m. It was much-improved effort on his past 1,400m form. Massive Action gradually faded after working forward to lead 1,100m out from the widest draw. He was able to build on an ordinary debut effort last month. Circuit Stellar made good ground late down the outside after a patient ride towards the rear from a wide draw. He was set a task carrying top weight once again. Charity Grace ran on without menacing after a wide with cover run behind midfield. The rise in weight after a last-start win took its toll.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (481) - HYACINTH HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

GOOD VIEW CLARICO, second Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 4.3.22 by order of the Stewards (retirement).

GALAXY WITNESS was slow to begin.

From wide barriers, CIRCUIT STELLAR and HEZA BEAUTY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

In the early stages, KASI FARASI was left racing very wide and without cover and then after the 900 Metres was allowed to improve its position, however, continued to travel wide and without cover.

Near the 900 Metres, LET'S DO IT was very awkwardly placed behind EN POINTE as that horse was steadied to obtain cover behind SEATTLE CHOICE.

LET'S DO IT then shifted out away from the heels of EN POINTE.

After this, LET'S DO IT continued to race close to the heels of EN POINTE.

Passing the 800 Metres, EN POINTE got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SEATTLE CHOICE.

At the entrance to the Straight, GALAXY WITNESS shifted out and bumped LET'S DO IT.

LET'S DO IT was then awkwardly placed outside the heels of GALAXY WITNESS near the 350 Metres which shifted to the outside of KASI FARASI to obtain clear running.

FEARLESS FIRE, which was racing outside LET'S DO IT, got its head on the side and shifted out away from that horse and in doing so bumped CHARITY GRACE.

Passing the 400 Metres, MASSIVE ACTION became unbalanced of its own accord.

After the 400 Metres, EN POINTE improved into tight running between SEATTLE CHOICE and KASI FARASI.

SHADOW MISSION had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and near the 350 Metres shifted out, resulting in SUPER DYNAMITE being momentarily crowded for room inside SEATTLE CHOICE which also shifted in.

CIRCUIT STELLAR was unable to obtain clear running from on straightening until approaching the 200 Metres.

Approaching the 100 Metres, SUPER DYNAMITE and EN POINTE brushed.

GALAXY WITNESS and SUPER DYNAMITE were sent for sampling.
