Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (325) - TAI TAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
VOYAGE STAR and GO FOR TEA both began awkwardly.
HANG'S DECISION shifted in at the start and bumped SUPER MISSION which was crowded for room outside LIFELINE VISION.
NAMJONG CORTEZ shifted in at the start and bumped A A AGILITY.
After this, A A AGILITY was shifted across behind runners.
Shortly after the start, RUNNING GLORY shifted out and raced tight inside LIFELINE VISION.
Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, VOYAGE STAR took some time to muster speed.
At the entrance to the Straight, GOOD RUNNER was positioned close to the heels of ISLAND SURPRISE when held up for clear running and then passing the 400 Metres GOOD RUNNER was directed to the outside of FIRE BALL to obtain clear running.
VUKAN was badly held up for clear running from passing the 300 Metres until after the 200 Metres.
HANG'S DECISION was unable to obtain clear running over the final 200 Metres and because of this was not able to be tested.
In the Straight, AMIGOS GIGGLE hung out under pressure.
Throughout the race, FIRE BALL travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of VOYAGE STAR immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer??which had previously been reported.
GOOD RUNNER, RUNNING GLORY and LIFELINE VISION were sent for sampling.

Running Glory ran away with the race after darting to the lead 150m out after making his run four back on the fence for a maiden win at just his third start. There's plenty more to come from him. Lifeline Vision ran on well to grab second on the wire after making his run a position back outsider the eventual winner. It was an improved effort following a downgrade. Super Mission was just out-finished for second after settling four back and three deep with cover. He's honest but isn't a prolific winner. Favourite Good Runner came up one-paced over the last 100m with his move after peeling off horses for a clear run 350m out following a one-off trip in midfield. Vukan ran on steadily to finish next best after getting held up for a run along the inside until the last 150m following a midfield trip. He had an excuse. Amigos Giggle weakened in the run to the wire after hunting to the lead from gate 14. He doesn't get the 1,400m. Lady First held his ground after wide trip in midfield. He'll be a force to be reckoned if he finds his way into Class Five. Hang's Decision wasn't able to obtain a clear run over the final 150m along the inside after a patient ride one from the rear. He should have finished closer.
