Racing Incident Report
Race Nine: (401) - LAI CHI KOK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
NORDIC WARRIOR was slow to begin.
From the outside barriers, HARDLY SWEARS and SHOUSON were shifted across behind runners soon after the start.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, HAPPY ALUMNI was steadied away from the heels of SCORES OF FUN (A Badel) which shifted in when not fully clear.
A Badel was reprimanded.
Approaching the first turn near the 1000 Metres, HAPPY ALUMNI shifted in away from THE RUNNER and raced tight with HELENA BABY.
Throughout the race, LITTLE BIRD travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
A veterinary inspection of THE RUNNER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CAPITAL STAR and IGNITING were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 31 January 2021 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of FANTASTIC WAY, FIRE BALL, CITY LEGEND, GALAXY EMPEROR, SEIZE THE SPIRIT, LUCKY FUN, RESOLUTE, HAPPY WIN WIN, WINNING STEED, SUNNY BOY, SUNSET WATCH, BEAUTY SMILE, NOT USUAL TALENT, FURORE, GLORIOUS DRAGON, EXULTANT, WINS ALL, ULTRA EXPRESS, GREEN ENVY, LOOKING GREAT, CASIMIRO, TELECOM FIGHTERS, BEAUTY APPLAUSE and GUY DRAGON revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of WINNER METHOD, BELLA BABY, FAMILY LEADER, PAKISTAN FRIEND, SHADOW BREAKER, FORTUNE MASTER, MASTER HERO, CHARITY GRACE, BELUGA, SEA OF LIFE, PRIME MINISTER, HOT KING PRAWN, REGENCY LEGEND, NATURAL STORM, STIMULATION, ABOVE, GOLDEN SIXTY, SOUTHERN LEGEND, SKY DARCI, EXCELLENT PROPOSAL, LUCKY EXPRESS, ENRICH DELIGHT, PACKING WALTHAM, ASSIMILATE, CHARITY GO, SIGHT SUCCESS and BIG FORTUNE (24.1.21) proved negative.

Capital Star kept on gamely for a comfortable win after quickly finding the front from gate 10. He was able to build on an eye-catching debut effort last month and appears to have more points in hand. Odds-on choice Igniting couldn't make any ground on the winner after a speed-chasing run. It was another good run following a win. Scores Of Fun ran on steadily following a prominent run to finish a non-threatening third. The big weight anchored him on this occasion but continues to race consistently. Nordic Warrior came from last to get the head down for fourth after a slow start. It was a good run with a return to Class Three off a light weight following a win. Hardly Swears was another making good ground late after a patient ride second from the rear to just miss a quartet spot. He rarely produces a bad run over this Valley trip. Specked late, Shouson ran on without menacing near the inside after biding his time fourth last on the fence. Happy Alumni didn't let down following a one-off run in midfield. The rise in weight took its toll following a last-start win.
