Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (76) - TONG FUK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
MY SUGAR was crowded for room on jumping between SMART HUNTER and DIAMOND PEGASUS which shifted out marginally.
In this incident, MY SUGAR and SMART HUNTER bumped.
MERCURIAL and ULTRA EXPRESS made contact at the start after both horses began awkwardly.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, MY SUGAR was crowded for room between ELIGERE which shifted out away from the heels of MAGIC SUPREME and STREET SCREAM (B Shinn) which shifted in.
B Shinn was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
SMART HUNTER travelled keenly in the early stages.
Approaching the turn near the 900 Metres, MY SUGAR was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ELIGERE when travelling keenly.
DIAMOND PEGASUS and JADE PHOENIX were sent for sampling.

Favourite Diamond Pegasus fought back when headed by Jade Phoenix at the 150m to get the nose down when required to score a maiden win at his 13th start. Jade Phoenix put his nose in front at the 150m following a one-out, one-back run but found one just better on the day. His lack of a run was the difference in the end. My Sugar finished well two from the right following a rail run behind midfield to finish a close third. He's made a good impression in his two career starts and can break through soon. Eligere closed off reasonably well after peeling into the clear 250m out following a midfield run to fill the frame without menacing the top three. It was another honest run over this trip but he has trouble winning. Street Scream peaked on his run 100m out after looming a chance at the 200m travelling outside Eligere in midfield. Newcomer Mercurial gave way after rolling forward to sit outside the leader 830m out from a wide gate. He needed the experience.
