Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (626) - HUNG HOM HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
HAR HAR HEART began very awkwardly and lost ground.
CHEERS VANQUISHER shifted out at the start and bumped LAST KINGDOM.
NAVAS was crowded for room on jumping between MIDNIGHT RATTLER and KING OF HEARTS which shifted out.
After this, NAVAS was shifted across behind runners.
When being steadied from a wide barrier to obtain cover, LUCKY TIME shifted out on jumping and bumped WITNESS HUNTER, causing LUCKY TIME to become badly unbalanced.
From the outside barrier, RACING LUCK was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
WITNESS HUNTER lost its right hind plate in the early stages.
Near the 1300 Metres, KING OF HEARTS was taken wider by RACING LUCK which shifted out when travelling keenly and awkwardly placed close to the heels of MAGNETISM.
WITNESS HUNTER travelled wide and without cover until near the 1000 Metres at which time the horse shifted in to race outside the lead.
After being crossed by WITNESS HUNTER near the 1000 Metres, MIDNIGHT RATTLER commenced to prove difficult to settle, got its head up and shifted out when awkwardly placed behind WITNESS HUNTER.
LAST KINGDOM, which was following MIDNIGHT RATTLER, proved very difficult to settle and improved into tight running inside MIDNIGHT RATTLER when that horse shifted out marginally near the 950 Metres.
When MIDNIGHT RATTLER shifted back in, LAST KINGDOM, which was continuing to prove difficult to settle, was hampered and taken in onto HAR HAR HEART which was crowded for room.
MIDNIGHT RATTLER was then directed out near the 900 Metres to relieve the tightening to LAST KINGDOM and HAR HAR HEART and consequently travelled wide and without cover.
At the entrance to the Straight, BIG BANG BONG was awkwardly placed behind WITNESS HUNTER.
After the 300 Metres, LAST KINGDOM got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
Near the 250 Metres, HAR HAR HEART was momentarily crowded for room inside CHEERS VANQUISHER which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to HAR HAR HEART.
A veterinary inspection of HAR HAR HEART immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GREEN LUCK and LAST KINGDOM were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Green Luck got the better of Last Kingdom over the final 150m with a strong move from behind midfield to up his record over this Valley trip to two wins and a second following a downgrade. Last Kingdom kept on gamely after surging to the lead approaching the 200m following a one-off run fore of midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen over this course. Big Bang Bong stayed on well to finish a distant third following a box-seat run. He was able to follow-up a last-start win despite a rise in weight. Racing Luck came from near last to just miss a placing. It was another honest effort after going back from a wide draw. Witness Hunter wasn't beaten far in the end after working hard to chase a genuine pace from a wide gate. He'll be a force to be reckoned with if he returns to Class Four. Magnetism was getting going late without menacing from near the back. He's the type that can bob up at any moment off his current mark.
